Established in 1886 as the Darfield and District Conservative Club, the club is one of the oldest drinking establishments in this village of Darfield which lies 5 miles to the East of Barnsley South Yorkshire and 12 miles to the West of Doncaster. It is a private members club registered with the Association of Conservative Clubs. At the moment the membership of the club is around 1000 men, ladies and life members,

Guests are welcome at the club and affiliated members from other Convervative Clubs will be made more than welcome!
Visitors are allowed one visit per calendar month if signed in by a full member and if they enjoy what they see we encourage them to become full members.
Our Main Beers are supplied by John Smith's Brewery and include the following ales:
John Smith's Bitter, John Smith's' Smooth, Fosters Lager, Kronenburg 1664 Lager, Guinness and a fine supply of wines, spirits, ciders and various other bottled drinks.
